Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Center
Printed in Hong Kong since 1948, Wen Wei Po needed an updated office and headquarters to continue to position them for growth in the era of digital news. The long-running broadsheet’s new corporate office features repeated rounded squares, often mirrored between its furnishings and ceiling. HEAD Architecture’s bright lobby design incorporates lighting into the reception desk and walls as well as the recessed ceiling lights. Wooden wall motifs of Chinese characters and historical photos of Hong Kong emphasize the publication’s heritage, while a modern studio and multi-screen wall show the shift to new technologies.
